How does our application process look like?
We try to give you the best possible picture of the job position and of our corporate culture during the process. A careful application process is important to us to ensure that you feel at home in the future.
Step 1:
- The application process starts with going through the vacancy, which gives you a clear picture of what we have to offer and who we are looking for.
Step 2:
- If you recognize yourself in the vacancy, you can apply by submitting your CV and motivation letter to us. If you are not completely sure if you should apply because you don't meet all the requirements for the role? We encourage you to apply anyway. Nobody is perfect and maybe you are the candidate we are looking for! After you have submitted your application, you will receive an email from us confirming that we have received your CV and motivation letter.
Step 3:
- When we see enough common points between you and the position and we are convinced of your motivation, we will contact you by telephone. When this telephone conversation turns out positive for both sides, we will continue the procedure and invite you for a personal interview. For some positions a case is part of the procedure. During the interview, we think it is important that we get a good picture of you, but that you also get a good picture of Handelsbanken. We like to take time for this.
Step 4:
- When we are both convinced of a good match after all conversations, you will receive a proposal from us. In the proposal you can see which employee benefits package we can offer you. After you have accepted this proposal, we warmly welcome you to Handelsbanken!
Step 5:
- Before you actually start working with us, you go through a Pre Employment Screening, because integrity is important to us. The screening is carried out by DSI and includes verification of your CV and diplomas, checking for personal bankruptcy, issuing a VOG statement and an integrity check. We also carry out a sanction list check.
